Candy Grams

The 6th graders will be selling Candy Grams, for Valentine's Day, for .25 cents each on Friday, Feb 5 – Thursday, Feb 11th at recess and lunch.


No School on February 15th

There will be no school on Monday, February 15th.  All IUSD schools will be closed in honor of Washington’s birthdays.


K-9 School Choice Request (Intra-District Choice)

School Choice cards are now available in the front office. Parents complete this School Choice Card for each student requesting a transfer for the 2010-2011 school year. The deadline for submitting this request is noon, February 26th.


Registration/Enrollment Dates

Registration for the 2010-2011 school year will begin on Friday, March 5th for all students, grades K - 6. Please click on the following link if you have any questions. On Line Enrollment


Kindergarten Information Night

The City of Irvine and Irvine Unified School District present "Welcome To Kindergarten" (district-wide Kindergarten information nights) on Wednesday, February 10 and Monday, March 8, 2010, at 7:00pm at the City of Irvine located at 1 Civic Center Plaza.


Kindergarten Round-Up

Meadow Park will hold a Kindergarten Roundup on Thursday, April 29, 2010 for all parents of incoming Kindergarten students.

Parents Appreciating Teachers and STaff (PTAS)

Teachers and school staff play a special role in the lives of children and their parents. IPSF offers parents a meaningful way to show their appreciation each year by making a donation in the name of a teacher or staff member. Each teacher or staff member honored receives a small gift and a card acknowledging the giver and the important role the teacher or staff member has played in their lives. All proceeds from this program benefit the Innovative Teaching Award Program (ITAP). Forms are available now and can be found below: 2010 PATS Form


GATE/APAAS

The annual APAAS Parent Orientation night will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Oak Creek Elementary School from 6:00-7:00. Those interested in getting more information regarding the APAAS program should attend this information session.

Additionally the Irvine Unified School District has set up a special webpage to help students, parents and employees learn more about the H1N1 flu, along with strategies for staying healthy this season. IPSF 365 Campaign

The Irvine Public Schools Foundation has kicked off a new campaign to help all IUSD students. You can join the IPSF 365 Club by giving just $1 a day. Simply donate $5 today and send IPSF $30 per month for 12 months. IPSF will send you a window decal or a chrome license plate frame so you can show your neighbors that you are committed to education in Irvine. Please see this link for more information.
